Crossrail London

Cadpress contributed to the design and detailing of the Crossrail project as part of a coordinated design team based in central London.

Our role included the development of several new stations along the Elizabeth line, where we translated architectural concepts into practical, engineered solutions. We’re proud to have played a part in this award-winning infrastructure project, which now benefits millions of passengers every year.

Davyhulme WwTW

Cadpress assisted with the delibery of the Davyhulme Modernisation Project (DMP). It was the largest wastewater project awarded during AMP6 (2015-2020), delivered for United Utilities.  BIM (Building Information Modelling) was integral to the success of DMP.

The 4D model combined civil, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and supplier models into a single reference point. The 4D visualisation meant each construction activity was reviewed with stakeholders to ensure constraints were mitigated.

RT7000 Binn Eco Park

Cadpress assisted with the design and development of the RT7000 demonstration plant. Licensed by Recycling Technologies, the aim of the project was to produce virgin-grade oil from end-of-life mixed waste plastics. The plant was proposed to be installed at Binn Eco Park in Perth, Scotland, and was supported by Zero Waste Scotland and Innovate UK, with backing from major petrochemical companies.

Unfortunately, the project failed to materialize beyond the design and development stages due to funding and financial constraints, and has since been acquired by Deeptech Recycling.

Courseulles Wind Farm

Cadpress has played a key role in advancing offshore wind projects, delivering expertise from early concept design through to technical development and on-site deployment.

Our most recent project has been assisting with the  The Courseulles-sur-Mer wind farm, also known as the Calvados offshore wind farm, is a 448-450MW offshore wind power project by EDF Renewables, Enbridge, and wpd, located off the coast of Normandy, France.

Avonmouth Recycling

Cadpress assisted with the design and development of the new and improved Avonmouth Metal Recycling Facility. The project successfully delivered a new shredding and sorting facility, designed to increase annual throughput capacity while reducing annual CO₂ emissions.
